| Rather than the draw
being done and published in advance which has caused numerous
problems and complaints in the past the draw will be done
"live" on the day.
However, time constraints dictate that
there must be 2 separate start times 10:30 and 12:00
Each group will play down to a "winner"
who will contest the final with the "winner"
of the other section
The intention is to stop "no shows"
due to people getting bad draws in advance and as a
result having loads of byes and the resultant hanging
around for hours without playing a game which has been
a feature of the open for as long as i can remember.
Hopefully this will help to make things
run smoother.
Please ensure everyone is there at their
alloted start times - if they are not it holds everything
up!!
